Our
aim is to provide a close level of support to our customers,
and in many cases we facility manage their systems. Our
support contracts are normally based on telephone support
and/or remote access to our customers' sites by means of
ISDN routers or a virtual private network over broadband,
but we are happy to make site visits.
We are used to supporting the applications which we have
written and the hardware and networks we have installed,
but we do also support installations with third party hardware
and software. We offer trouble-shooting and consultancy
services.
We are not keen on the "dependency culture" which
some companies engender amongst their customers. We like
to help our customers to learn how to perform routine tasks
and basic troubleshooting for themselves.
Some examples of the type of
assistance we can provide are noted below:-
- Single and multi-site integrated networks comprising
either or both Windows and Unix servers, including database
applications, e-mail systems and accounting software.
- Windows and Unix networks which include remote modem,
ISDN and broadband communications for our clients’
customers.
- Maintenance and support of communications equipment
and firewalls. We offer next day provision of replacements
for failed units, including those located in Europe.
- Maintenance and support of virtual private networks,
including firewall and anti-virus protection.
- Disaster recovery services including remote backup
of critical data.
Much of our work is undertaken for a base of regular
customers with whom a close relationship and understanding
of their individual businesses has developed.
