Over
the years we have seen many of our customers expand their
businesses and have become involved in data communications
issues. We therefore have experience of analogue modem,
ISDN, leased line and broadband communications. We have
implemented both routed ISDN wide area networks and virtual
private networks for a number of our customers and for a
variety of purposes.
- Inter-branch communications for transfer of email
and files and batch transfer of data. Implementations
have also included visibility of stock data between
branches.
- Third party access to corporate systems, including
SAP.
- Teleworker and small branch office access to corporate
networks.
- Provision of remote access to our clients’ customers
to stock and order processing systems to allow order
entry and order and stock status enquiries.
- Design and implementation of security systems to prevent
unauthorised access to our customers’ networks.
- Internet security for dial-up and broadband connections,
including Cisco and Linux based software firewalls.
- Implementation of virtual private networks.
These projects include a network of over
40 sites throughout Europe.
